The religion of Sikhism is monotheistic, its followers are the Sikhs. In Sikhism, loyalty, fidelity, purity and self-control are considered very important.
The symbol derives from the double-edged sword, which appears in the center of the drawing. The double-edged sword is a metaphor for Divine Knowledge, its sharp edges can separate truth from falsehood. The right edge of the Khanda symbolizes freedom and authority governed by moral and spiritual values. On the other hand, the left edge of the sword symbolizes divine justice that punishes and sanctions. This double-edged sword is also related to vanity, false pride and the breaking of inequalities. In India the caste system has been in force for centuries, so this symbol also symbolized breaking these inequalities.
The circle that surrounds the Khanda is called Chakar. This circle is the so-called endless circle. It symbolizes the perfection of God and eternity. It is a circle without beginning or end exhorts the followers of this religion that all creation on earth is worthy of compassion. It also symbolizes unity, morality and justice.
Outside the circle are two curved swords called kirpans. The two kirpans impart a balance similar to the concept of "yin and yang" in Chinese philosophy.

This minimalistic Sikh Khanda Necklace, bridging tradition with modern minimalism, is a beautiful, gentle addition to any outfit. Designed to be worn daily with any outfit.
